Laura Radford Novotny, Broker-Associate, has been a Realtor at Watson Realty Corp. on St. Augustine's Anastasia Island since 2005. She assists buyers and sellers primarily of residential properties in St. Augustine and throughout St. Johns County, Florida. She has earned the Resort and Second Home Property Specialist designation (RSPS) through the National Association of Realtors and completed certification training for GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute), REOS (REO bank-owned Specialist) and CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert). Originally licensed as an inactive real estate sales associate in 1989, Laura first put her advertising degree from the University of Florida to work as an Account Supervisor and Strategic Planner for 16 years with relative experiences branding and marketing a wide range of products and services. Real estate related client projects included launching an upscale condominium hi-rise in downtown Orlando; rolling out a mixed-use urban neighborhood in Tampa; rebranding a boutique hotel chain; and creating marketing support tools for a hotel condo conversion in Colorado and luxury hotel and condo developments in Savannah. As a former nearby Gainesville resident she spent many summers at Crescent Beach and has watched the island evolve since 1979. Today these unique professional skills and personal experiences benefit sellers in effectively marketing and positioning properties for optimal results and facilitating communication with prospective purchasers for a seamless buying experience. Laura can also provide referral services to customers looking to buy or sell anywhere in Florida, nationally and internationally through her Transnational certification and Watson Realty's affiliations with Leading Real Estate Companies of the World and Luxury Portfolio. Raised in a family of 3rd generation Florida builders and having first-hand remodeling experiences of her own, Laura is no stranger to construction and renovation processes impacting purchase decisions. A passion for big cities and travel has taken her to a dozen countries, but Anastasia Island is where she prefers a relaxed, island lifestyle.
